POWER CIRCUIT: 3-Minutes to Develop Strength and Explosiveness in Your Pitcher

Hi There Friend!

Today I wanted to share a power drill that you can add to any of your bullpens to help your pitcher gain strength and explosiveness.

POWER CIRCUITS combine pitching with a couple different strength exercises and are designed to be done in short bursts of time.

I love creating different combinations of exercises to challenge my pitchers to get stronger, both physically and mentally, during a workout. The video above shows this combination:

Standing Long Jump - Pitch - Burpee

I have my pitchers do this combination of exercises for 60-90 seconds and repeat for 2-3 sets. If your pitcher is new to this type of training, start with 2, 1-minute sets and then work up as she gets stronger!

Try incorporating POWER CIRCUITS at the very end of a bullpen, 2-3 times a week, AND encourage her to not leave anything in the tank! Remind her to give FULL effort for each set and that after she completes her circuits, she is DONE for the day! You will notice improvements in only a few weeks if you use these in workouts consistently!

SIDE NOTE: The video shown above is of current University of Iowa pitcher, Jalen Adams. This is one example of how hard she worked as a youth pitcher in my training program! ; )

Give POWER CIRCUITS a try with your pitcher this month! I think you will both be very happy with the results you see/feel after doing them consistently for a few weeks!

As always, let me know if you have any questions. You can reach me HERE anytime!

All My Best,

Myndie
