Upper Body Pitching Mechanics

Hey There Friend!

How was your week? Are you going to be able to do something FUN this weekend? I'm guessing you had planned to be at the ballpark but, unfortunately, that isn't happening yet. I hope your "Plan B" involves something you enjoy almost as much as playing ball! ; )

I've gotten lots of questions recently about how I teach a pitcher's arm circle and follow through. I honestly don't have to "teach" these things much if a pitcher understands that a LOOSE arm circle is fast and a TIGHT arm circle is slow. I believe the simpler we make things for athletes, the better. I mean not everything has to be coached...right...!?

HERE is a quick video that shows the differences between a tight and loose arm circle and follow through. Have you been taught OR do you teach something other than a loose arm circle and finish that follows the ball? If so, what is the reason for it...? Would love to hear what you have to say!

Have a FABULOUS weekend Friend! I'll be in touch again next Friday!

All My BEST,

Myndie
