BreakThrew Fastpitch
2026–27 In-Person Pitcher Training Programs
More work isn't always the answer. It's the RIGHT work that matters.
Your pitcher can throw hundreds of pitches every week.
But if there's no plan behind the work, more reps won't automatically make her a better pitcher.
She needs to know what she's working toward. What she needs to improve. How to train it. And how to take that work into the circle when it matters.
If she's willing to put in the work, she deserves a plan that makes that work count.
For six months, we'll train with purpose — developing her skills, challenging her physically and mentally, holding her accountable, and teaching her how to COMPETE.
Not just more pitching.
The RIGHT work. With a plan. For six months. So she doesn't just work harder, she gets better!
2026–27 Training Season: Early November–Early May

6 Months Can Change a Pitcher
Not because she threw more pitches.
Because she learned how to train differently.
She learned to work with purpose.
She was challenged — and learned she could do hard things.
She was held accountable for the work she put in.
She learned to make adjustments instead of waiting for someone to fix it for her.
She learned how to compete when things got uncomfortable.
She built confidence by preparing, doing the work and seeing herself get better.
And little by little, she became more than a pitcher with better skills.
She became a pitcher more prepared to lead, compete and handle whatever the game throws at her.
That's what six months of intentional training can do.
This Isn't a Collection of Pitching Lessons
It's a complete training season.
For six months, everything we do has a purpose.
What we work on in November builds the foundation for what comes next. As the training season progresses, we'll continue to develop skills, add challenges, increase pressure and prepare her to take what she's built into competition.
And the work doesn't stop when class ends.
Every two weeks, she'll receive a new workout designed to build on the work we've already done and prepare her for what's coming next.
No guessing. No piecing together random drills. No wondering, “What should I be working on?”
She'll know.
What to work on.
Why she's working on it.
And what she's working toward.
Six months. Every workout connected. Every class building on the last. Every rep moving her forward.
What Six Months of Training Looks Like
From early November through early May, we're not working on one piece of pitching.
We're developing what she throws, how she competes and who she becomes in the circle.
That means building stronger, more efficient mechanics. Developing velocity, command, movement and change of speed. Learning how to make adjustments when something doesn't feel right.
But pitching is more than physical.
We'll train the mental side of the game, too — confidence, routines, resilience, handling failure and learning how to stay in control when the game gets hard.
And we'll COMPETE.
Pitchers will be challenged to execute under pressure, make adjustments, get uncomfortable and learn how to respond when things don't go their way.
Because eventually, she has to take everything she's worked on and trust it in the circle.
That's where the work MUST show up!
A Training Season Built to Keep Her Moving Forward
14 Hours of In-Person Training With Myndie Berka
- 12 Hours of Pitching Classes — No more than five pitchers per class. Groups are intentionally built around age and/or skill level so pitchers can push each other, challenge each other and COMPETE.
- 2 Hours of Classroom Mindset Sessions — Dedicated time away from pitching to work on confidence, routines, handling failure, responding to pressure and the mental skills she'll need when things don't go as planned.
New Workouts Every Two Weeks
A clear plan for the work between classes. Each workout builds on what we've already done so she always knows what to work on next.
Competition & Pressure Training
She won't just practice her skills. She'll put them to the test through challenges and competition during our classes AND in her workouts between classes. She'll learn to execute, adjust and respond under pressure so she's better prepared to compete, lead and take control in the circle when the game is on the line.
Accountability
Having a plan matters. Following it matters, too. Each pitcher will use a training journal and habit tracker throughout the six months that is reviewed at her classes, helping her stay accountable to the work, track her progress and take ownership of her development.
Six months. One connected plan. All built around helping her make real progress toward HER goals.
The Work Has to Show Up When It Matters.
The workouts. The challenges. The mindset training. The accountability.
It all has a bigger purpose:
Helping her become a pitcher who is more prepared to compete, respond and LEAD when she's in the circle.
She knew exactly what to work on.
“We never really knew what specific drills to work on when, and so we would just go to the gym and she would pitch. I loved this program because she knew specifically what workout to do when, the workouts had a reason, and she loved doing them. I loved that she could do them independently in our basement, and I had the confidence that she was doing the right thing at the right time of the off season.”
— BreakThrew Parent
She gave up a home run. Then got the next hitter.
“She gave up her first home run this year and never hung her head or had bad body language. She took a deep breath, refocused and struck the next person out to end the inning and ran into the dugout like nothing happened. It was a great show of resilience and leadership. In the past, a moment like that could have changed the rest of her game. This time, she took control of the moment, responded and moved on.”
— BreakThrew Parent
“I HAVE to pitch” became “I GET to pitch.”
“Her work ethic and mindset shifted to ‘I get to pitch’ versus ‘I have to.’ Norah is able to take control of the moments when things don't go as planned. Before, things would just unravel. Before, she had a lot of quit in her. Now, when things get hard, she’s learning to take control of the moment, keep fighting and remind herself: ‘I GET to do this.’”
— BreakThrew Parent
This is what we're working toward.
Not a pitcher who never struggles.
A pitcher who trusts her work, takes control when things get hard and is ready to LEAD when the ball is in HER hand!
A pitcher shouldn't train the same way in November that she does in April.
As the season changes, the training needs to change with it.
OFF-SEASON | November to Mid-January
This is where we build the foundation.
The off-season gives us time to focus on the things that are harder to change once games begin.
We'll dig into mechanics, develop more efficient movement patterns, build power and velocity, and work on creating better spin and movement.
This is our opportunity to make changes, experiment, get uncomfortable and build the physical foundation she'll need for everything that comes next.
PRE-SEASON | Mid-January through March
Now we turn that work into PITCHING.
The focus begins to shift from developing skills to learning how to command and use them.
We'll work on commanding the ball both in AND out of the strike zone, transitioning the pitches she plans to compete with, changing speeds and learning how her pitches work together to attack hitters.
The question starts changing from “Can I throw this pitch?” to “Can I use this pitch to get a hitter out?”
IN-SEASON | April–May
Now it's time to COMPETE.
Games give us information that workouts can't.
We'll chart performance, evaluate what's working and what isn't, make adjustments and use what she's experiencing in games to help guide the work we do in training.
Once games begin, the work becomes even more specific. We use what she's seeing in competition to decide what needs attention next.
Games show us what's working, what isn't and where the work needs to go next.
Every Pitcher Starts Somewhere. Every Pitcher Has Somewhere to Go.
I've coached pitchers making their arm in a circle for the very first time.
I've also coached some of the best pitchers in the country.
And everything in between.
Because BreakThrew isn't built for one age, one skill level or one type of pitcher.
It's built around helping each pitcher figure out what SHE needs to get better.
For a beginning pitcher, that might mean learning strong foundational mechanics, developing consistency and building confidence from the very beginning.
For an intermediate pitcher, it might mean adding velocity, improving command or developing pitches that can get hitters out.
For an advanced pitcher, it might mean continuing to evolve her pitches, command and approach so she can stay one step ahead as the hitters and competition around her get better.
Different ages. Different abilities. Different goals. Different work.
That's why I intentionally build training groups around age and/or skill level so every pitcher can be appropriately challenged by the work AND the pitchers training beside her.
Beginning pitcher or elite pitcher, there’s always something to chase. And THAT'S what makes the journey so much fun.

I know you may still have some questions, so here are answers to the ones I hear most often from parents before they join my program:
How do we know if this program is the right level for my daughter?
What if my daughter is already working with a pitching coach?
My daughter gets nervous in front of others. Will she be comfortable in a group setting?
Will my daughter get individual attention in a group format?
What if my daughter plays other sports or has a busy schedule?
How much practice outside of class is expected?
What if I have a conflict with a class? Can I make it up?
How do parents stay involved?
Will my daughter still be able to progress well in your training program without access to an indoor facility during the winter?
What equipment will I need to participate in this program?
Does my daughter need a catcher to attend classes with her?
What age group is this program for?
Why a six-month training program instead of individual pitching lessons?
We live a long way from one of your training locations. Is it worth the drive?
